    ECOLOGICAL COMMISSION
"God created the world and all that is in it" Psalms 24:1
Nature is the art of God and God owns it. Throughout the scripture we are reminded that God created the world for His purposes and we have the responsibility to take care of it. The energy hungry lifestyles human beings have its impact on nature to a great extent. We should live in a way that does not destroy the beauty or the resources of the earth for the future generations.
With a view to sensitize the members of our Church to the need to preserve God's gift to mankind – the Earth, an Ecological Commission was commissioned with the following office bearers:
  1. Rev. Fr. Anup Joseph Eapen - Vice President
  2. Mr. Thomas Philip - Secretary
  3. Dr. C C Sagy - Advisor
  4. Dr. Rosy Thomas - Advisor
  5. Mrs. Shanthi Thomas – Advisor
The Ecological Commission was launched on Sunday August 14th 2011 in twelve different churches/chapels in the city of Chennai. To mark the launch a sapling was planted in each of these churches/chapels.
We urge all of you to work with the Ecological Commission in conserving the environment.
